10 Classic Quotes I Love

10 Classic Quotes I Love

Reading quotes I find really therapeutic, sometimes you can read a quote and feel really empowered which just proves the importance of words. I find quotes are kind of like free counselling, the amount of times I might have been in a bad mood or faced a tough decision, read a quote and then suddenly felt a lot better. So here are some of my favourite classic quotes which I love reminding myself of.

1 // Oscar Wilde
"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."

2 // Roald Dahl- The Twits
"If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely."

3 // Charlotte Bronte- Jane Eyre
"I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will."

4 // Eleanor Roosevelt
" Do what you feel in your heart to be right- for you'll be criticised anyway. You'll be damned if you do and damned if you don't."

5 // Aesop
"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."

6 // Shakespeare- A Midsummer Night's Dream
"Though she be but little, she is fierce."

7 // Audrey Hepburn
"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm Possible."

8 // Dr Seuss
"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you."

9 // Leonardo Da Vinci
"It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things."

10 // The Lion King
"Hakuna Matata."

These are just some of my favourite classic quotes, I probably could write a very long book with all of the ones that mean something to me.
